Residentie Nederlandse Ambassade Bangkok

The Victorian villa in the Central Business District of Bangkok underwent total renovation and was redesigned as a representative official residence. The residence is used for official receptions and to accommodate guests. A new wing has been built behind the villa with the ambassador’s private rooms. The windows and front façades are fitted with louvre doors that provide privacy, ventilation, and shade from the sun. A spacious terrace below the private residential quarters overlooks the exotic garden, which has been redesigned by Michael van Gessel.
